A new way to see a familiar photograph
A grandparent’s portrait, a childhood snapshot, or a family gathering can feel especially personal in color. I add natural-looking color to black-and-white photographs while keeping the character of the original image.
I personally review each photograph, combining AI-assisted colorization with attention to faces, clothing, and background details. If you remember a particular color, such as a dress, uniform, or car, please share it along with any reference photographs.
What your $25 includes
- Colorization of one black-and-white photograph.
- Personal review of the colorized result.
- A colorized digital copy to enjoy and share. Physical prints are not included; printing is available at an additional cost.
- Consideration of any known colors or reference images you provide.
Does your photo need repair?
Photo restoration is a separate service at $60 per image. If your photograph is torn, scratched, or faded, I can review it before you decide whether to add restoration.
Colorization does not automatically include damage repair. I will confirm the services and total price before starting.

Questions about colorization
Colorization is an interpretation of the original scene. Known details, such as a uniform or dress color, and reference photographs can help guide the result, but exact historical colors cannot always be confirmed.
Yes. Email your photo to contact@photodigitizer.net or text it to 904-419-3570. Send the clearest, largest version you have, preferably the original image file rather than a screenshot. If you only have a printed photo, you can scan it or take a clear, evenly lit photograph of it without glare. I will review the image and let you know whether it is suitable before starting.
Email or text the image and include your name and order number so I can match it to your order. You can also send it before ordering for a suitability review.
Yes. You can bring a printed photo by appointment or discuss an existing digital file. I will confirm any scanning needs and charges before work begins. Colorization is also available with a photo scanning package.
You are welcome to email or text me first to discuss your photograph. An in-person visit is optional. If you prefer online ordering, the quantity represents the number of images to colorize at $25 each. Any restoration is agreed separately.
I will confirm timing, file format, and digital delivery options after reviewing your photograph. The $25 price covers a digital image. Printed copies cost extra; please let me know if you would like prints.
